PESHAWAR, Dec 20: All the canals, lift irrigation schemes and tubewells in the jurisdiction of central irrigation circle of Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Bannu, upper Swat canal system and Chashma right bank canal system will remain closed for annual repair from Jan 1 to 31, 2002, says an official announcement.
