Amal Alamuddin: Dresses from the big fat Italian wedding unveiled

The wedding weekend wasn’t just about celebrating George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s love – it was about the glamorous Mrs Clooney’s style as well. After all, editor-in-chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour skipped half of Paris Fashion Week to attend this wedding.

Over the weekend, Alamuddin was seen in four different designer dresses. The Lebanese-British lawyer proves to be a complete package by not only having beauty with brains, but also an amazing sense of fashion.

Alamuddin started off her celebrations on September 26, with a black and white striped Dolce & Gabbana sleeveless dress that fell below her knees. The bride-to-be looked très chic in the outfit as she walked unfazed in the streets of Venice. The giant round white bag which the human rights lawyer carried with Venezia written across, is custom made by Lebanese brand Sarah’s Bag, which represents artisans who are prisoners, ex-prisoners, and women at risk.

For the pre-wedding dinner on Friday night, Alamuddin wore a striking red Alexander McQueen gown from 2011 collection. This dress was also seen on Michele Obama, but Alamuddin had asked for the hemline and bust to be altered, which obviously had spectacular results. She looked vibrant, pairing the dress with bold red lipstick and black heels.

Her next appearance, which was post wedding was very glowing and sparkling on Sunday morning, for which she chose to wear another high-low hemline dress, but this time from Giambattista Valli Couture mini. The full sleeves dress had floral embellishes that shimmered in the sun. This dress was perfect for her first appearance as Mrs Clooney. It was not only classy but also flaunted her endless legs.

The fashion parade ended on Monday morning when Alamuddin was seen wearing short-sleeved Stella McCartney white pantsuit. The navy trim on the blouse matched her J smith Esquire hat.

The wedding dress, which was kept under wraps, has finally made its début on the cover of People and Hello! magazines – and it's uh-mazing.

The bride chose to wear French laced Oscar de la Renta embroidered with diamante accents and pearls. The off-the-shoulder ivory silk confection enabled the beautiful bride to show off her sexy collar bones.
