HYDERABAD, July 23: A man, Nadeem, died in Civil Hospital, Hyderabad, on Wednesday due to what appeared to be negligence of doctors.

Mr Nadeem,, who dealt in surgery equipment, suffered serious injuries in an armed robbery in his house on Thursday night.

The bandits smashed his head against the wall and a water tank also fell on him which resulted in a fracture.

Nadeem was taken to the hospital where doctors discharged him after providing him first aid.

It was not checked whether he had suffered injuries in his head.

On Tuesday night he felt pain in his head and also vomited.

He was taken to the Civil Hospital where he was admitted to the neurosurgery ward.

His brother alleged that Dr Khalid did not give due attention to him and asked for his CT scan at 3.30am.

Nadeem passed a painful night and even on Wednesday morning Dr Shakeel allegedly failed to examine him and he died at 4pm.

The brother and cousin of the dead man blamed the doctors for the death.—Correspondent
