ISLAMABAD, July 18: Acting President Mohammadmian Soomro on Friday said the government would ensure provision of all facilities for the smooth and successful implementation of foreign-funded projects in the country.

The acting president held out the assurance during his meeting with Country Director of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (Unido) Mr Carlos and executive vice- president OMV Pakistan (an Austrian oil and gas company) Helmeut Langanger, who called on the acting president on Friday.

Mr Carlos apprised Mr Soomro about the industrial and educational projects being carried out by his organization in Pakistan. The acting president appreciated the contribution of Unido for improving the industrial infrastructure and educational facilities in different parts of the country.
