ISLAMABAD, July 17: More rains of moderate to high inten-sity have been forecast in Punjab, Balaochistan and Kashmir in the next 24 hours, Metrological Department said on Thursday.

Widespread rains were reported in different parts of Sindh and in other parts of country on Thursday. The rain spell is likely to continue for the next couple of days.

According to a break-up, Lahore received 84 millimetres of rain on Thursday, Sailkot 73mm, Karachi 76mm, Nawabshah 75mm, Jhelum 37mm, Mandi Bahaudin 40mm, Bahawalpur 30mm, Kohat 23mm, Khanpur 30mm, Hyderabad 18mm, Rasaipur 12mm, Rahim Yar Khan 13mm, Gilgit 5mm, Murree 3mm and Muzaffarabad 2mm.—APP
