LAHORE, July 15: A meeting of the Jamaatud Daawa Pakistan held here on Tuesday to review arrangements for Thursday’s countrywide Ulema convention.

Jamaat chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed also talked to Maulana Samiul Haq over phone and discussed the current situation.

The Jamaat is organizing an ulema convention to formulate a strategy against feared government’s steps of recognizing Israel and sending troops to Iraq.
