LAHORE, July 14: The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) is holding a three-day interactive workshop for local engineering companies to encourage them to start exporting their goods to the developed countries, especially to the EU.
The workshop starting here from July 21 will also aim at disseminating information on trade structure, trade practices, technology and innovation as well as the prevailing regulations in the EU.
The EPB is organizing the workshop in collaboration with the CBI, Netherlands.
The target group of the workshop consists of companies relating to the fields of auto parts, pipe and pipe related products, agricultural machinery, hydraulic parts, casting and forging, and concrete mixers.
The first two days of the workshop will cover interactive sessions on global placement of Pakistan’s companies, supply chain management, technology and innovation, marketing and pricing strategies, sales management, manufacturing and product standards, legal issues and case studies.
The last day will be for individual counselling.
