CHITRAL, July 14: Nearly 23 high schools out of the 45 in the district are being run without principals.

Sources said that 298 posts of teachers of different cadre were vacant.

They said that 60 vacant posts of senior English teachers (SETs) in the high schools and 92 of the primary teachers also hindered their academic progress.
