LARKANA, July 14: The shopkeepers of Reshamgali took out a procession here on Monday to protest over poor sanitary conditions in the market area.

They marched through the city roads and held a demonstration outside the local press club.

They gave the municipal administration two days’ deadline to improve the sanitary conditions in the area and threatened that otherwise they would observe a strike.

Meanwhile the Taluka council, Larkana, has yet not repaired the main sewerage pipeline that had got burst on Bakrani Road.

The road has been closed for vehicular traffic as the arrangements to divert the water flow has proven unsuccessful.

The rain water is still standing in many localities of the city and complaints of residents about it have borne no fruit.
