NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 13: The Hesco staff disconnected power supply to six villages, near Moro on Friday.

The staff, headed by the line superintendent, Moro, Zulfiqar Ali Mallah, disconnected the electricity to Khamiso Dahri, Haji Mohammad Bachal Kalhoro, Mohammad Ashraf Gul, Mohammad Din and Mohammad Juma Kalhoro villages.

The villagers — Din Mohammad, Mubin, Mohammad Dahri, Allah Bux, Haroon Kalhoro and others alleged that the line superintendent had demanded bribe from them and threatened if villagers did not pay the same, they would have to suffer.

They alleged that on non-payment he disconnected power to their villages. The villagers said they were paying bills but even then they were deprived of power.
