GWADAR: Two personnel of the Coast Guards died when one of their colleagues allegedly opened fire on them in Pasni area of Gwadar district on Tuesday. Police said soldier Mukhtar Ahmed opened fire at Lance Naik Shafaqat and soldier Ata Rasool in the CG Mess, killing them on the spot.

The accused was overpowered and handed over to police for interrogation.

“The cause of the killing is yet to be ascertained,” a police official said.
