Security enhanced

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, July 9: Security enhanced in Dera Ismail Khan district after the Quetta terrorism incident and administration called out Frontier Constabulary to avert any untoward incident.

District Police Officer SSP Usman Zakria directed the concerned police on Wednesday to improve security arrangements and deploy force at mosques, imambargahs, churches and other religious places.

Officials said that all SHOs had been directed to enhance patrolling in their respective police stations and keep an eye on religious and public places.

The district police chief also directed the bomb disposal squad to remain alert and additional police force.

Meanwhile, during a campaign against anti-social elements, police have arrested 25 proclaimed offenders in the limits of Panyala, Yarak and Gomal University police stations who were wanted by the police in different murder and attempt of murder cases.
