NAROWAL, July 6: Villagers shot dead two bandits on Saturday night when they allegedly attempted to commit a dacoity in Depoke village.

The deceased were later identified as Aamer (23) and Amanat Ali alias Mana (27). Police sources said that Amanat alias Mana was wanted in a murder case.

Zafarwal police are looking into the matter.
