YouTube ban

THIS is apropos the report ‘No way to block Internet content’ (March 25). I agree with the statement. As in the case of YouTube, there are many proxy websites or VPN software which provide access to all the blocked content on the Internet.

Why is the government wasting its energy on such an unpreventable issue? Respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and other holy personalities and things is undoubtedly a matter of faith. But I don’t think any Muslim would access such rubbish.

There are many videos on YouTube which really help students and technical people in their studies or work. Therefore, YouTube should be unblocked.
