ISTANBUL, July 4: A Turkish court on Friday sentenced a British woman and her Turkish boyfriend to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking during a retrial, Anatolia news agency reported.

Alexandra Manner Pearce and Tahir Mehmet were arrested here in 2000 with nearly 25kgs of heroin that they were allegedly planning to sell in Britain.—AFP
