ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Maulana Samiul Haq, a key member of the committee nominated by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan for holding talks with the government, discussed on Saturday the month-long ceasefire announced by the banned outfit.

According to media reports, Chaudhry Nisar assured Maulana Sami that a positive response would be given to the Taliban’s announcement.—PPI
