LAHORE, June 28: As many as 32 closed-circuit cameras have been installed at the Lahore Museum, says a handout.
Another 32 cameras would soon be installed soon to ensure security, a meeting presided over by Punjab chief secretary Hafeez Akhtar Randhawa was informed on Friday.
Electronic gates at entry and exit points and latest security system would be installed at all galleries of the museum.
In case of any attempt to open or break windows of the museum, gates would automatically shut and block the way of intruders.
Censors would also be installed to avoid any fire incident.
The meeting was further informed that 25 wireless sets had been provided to security guards while more latest weapons would be provided to them soon.
The chief secretary directed the museum administration to prepare PC II of the expansion plan within a week.
