TOBA TEK SINGH: Gojra Sadar police on Sunday claimed to have busted a gang that used to swindle millions of rupees from people, mostly in Sindh, by selling them fake gold coins.

The gang used to call buyers from different cities to Pirmahal or Gojra and showed them real gold coins, saying that they were excavated from their old house.

However, at the time of transaction, they used to exchange real coins with fake ones and sold them against millions of rupees.

Gojra ASP Dr Rizwan told a press conference that police had arrested Naeem of Chak 242-GB, Ramzan of Chak 370-JB, Shaukat, Eisa, Irfan, Shah Ali, Munir and Khalid of Chak 95-JB and recovered 20kg fake gold coins and dozens of stolen motorcycles from them.
