KOLKATA (India), June 27: South African Gregory Allen King has been appointed the new fitness trainer of the Indian team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya said on Friday.
The 30-year-old King, who replaces compatriot Adrian Le Roux who abruptly quit the job earlier this month, arrives from South Africa’s provincial side Border. King, also a fielding coach and conditioning expert for fast bowlers, will be given a one-year contract.—Reuters
