ISLAMABAD, June 27: A Foreign Office spokesman said on Friday that all preparations to resume the Lahore-Delhi bus service had been made.
Pakistan was technically and operationally ready to resume the service, the spokesman said when asked about the preparations. He said matters including issuance of visas and route permits were being addressed to enable the service to resume as soon as possible.
REPORTS DENIED: A senior Foreign Office official, in a release, dismissed some reports from Kabul suggesting that Pakistani troops had crossed into Afghanistan during operations in the Mohmand Agency.—APP
