Demand for land rejected

GUJRANWALA, June 25: Former provincial education minister Barrister Usman Ibrahim has rejected the city tehsil council’s plea for constructing recreation park on the land transferred to the education department for the construction of a home economics college for women.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, he claimed that he had approved the women college and transferred the tract to the education department during his tenure. — Correspondent
