PESHAWAR, June 25: The provincial government has set up an emergency cell at the directorate general of health department, NWFP, to provide relief to the flood-affected people, said an official.

He said that the cell would remain in place for the next two months and Deputy Director Dr Mohammad Zaheen would be its chief.

The official said that a doctor, along with relevant staff, would remain present round the clock to cope with any emergency.
