PPP holds demo in Boston

ISLAMABAD, June 24: The Pakistan People’s Party, United States, held a demonstration in Boston on the eve of President Gen Pervez Musharraf’s visit.

According to a report released by the party, hundreds of activists and supporters of the PPP, the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and human rights organizations participated in the demonstration.

The demonstrators held placards denouncing the Legal Framework Order and the dictatorship of Gen Musharraf.

They demanded withdrawal of cases against former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and release of former senator Asif Zardari.
