KASUR, June 23: The city and its surrounding areas, including Khudian, Chunian, Fatehpur, Kaisar Garh and Kot Radha Kishan, received rain on Monday.

The rain which continued for three hours turned the weather pleasant. The farmers also welcomed the rain and said that it would be beneficial for the crop.

NO RECOVERY: Kasur police could not recover the car of Dawn staffer Muhammad Asghar Wahla which was stolen in the bazaar of Serai Mughal on June 14.

The Dawn staffer along with his nephew Hafiz Zaheer Abbas, friends Abdul Sattar Malik and Sharif Ansari went to Serai Mughal by his car (LOW-8507). He parked his car outside Mosque Jamshed Wali from where unknown thieves took it away.
