SHIKARPUR, July 9: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz and Jeay Sindh Students Federation observed a token hunger strike on Sunday at the Lakhi Gate Tower Chowk in protest against the implication of their leaders and workers in fake cases by Jamshoro police.

Led by Abdul Sattar Brohi, Majid Hyderi, Khalid Brohi and Niaz Jafri, protesters demanded withdrawal of the false cases.

They threatened to launch a protest drive if their demands were not accepted.
