LAHORE, June 16: Robbers shot dead two men on resistance in different parts of the city on Monday.

In the first incident, robbers shot dead a man at his house at Nishtar Colony’s Salman Park and escaped with cash and gold ornaments worth Rs50,000.

Muhammad Ashraf was shot dead allegedly by three robbers on the Peco Road on Monday night.

The manager of a flour mills told police that Ashraf had left the mills after selling wheat for Rs100,000. He said he got information that Ashraf had been found dead at some distance away. He quoted passers-by as saying that the man was shot dead by dacoits.
