VEHARI, June 9: A youth slaughtered his sister and her lover in Chak 188-EB here on Monday evening.

Reports said Nasreen developed relations with her neighbour, Yasin. When her brother, Shaukat, came to know about it, he reprimanded her, but to no avail. On Monday, Shaukat slaughtered his sister and her lover and escaped.

DROWNS: A youth was drowned in a canal in Chak I-WB here on Monday. Rana Riaz, 16, was taking a bath in the canal when he drowned. He was the only son of local trader Rana Saleem.
