PESHAWAR, June 8: The World Pashto Congress, a literary wing of nationalist parties, has provisionally approved its manifesto and constitution here on Sunday.

The organizing committee of the congress, which met here at the Rahat Hall, had put five more persons on the manifesto committee. It also decided to launch the membership drive from Sunday.

Mr Mukhtiar Yousufzai, Pushtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party chief, said that literature had been a part of the politics and it could not be severed away from the political philosophy.

WPC deputy organizer Shahabuddin Khattak, short story writer Gul Afzal Khan, poet Ghazi Sial and others also spoke.
