QUETTA, June 6: Pakistani border authorities released four Afghan soldiers late on Friday evening, who had crossed into Pakistani area along with some dead bodies.
Official sources said four troops had entered the Pakistani area from Spin Boldak with some dead bodies, but personnel of Frontier Corps on patrolling took them into custody disallowing them to bring bodies in the area.
The Pakistani officials immediately contacted and summoned Fazal Din Agha, the administrative officer of Afghan border town Spin Boldak, in Chaman and lodged strong protest for again sending dead bodies in the Pakistan area. After the assurance of Spin Boldak administrative officer, Pakistan released all the four Afghan soldiers and returned their weapons.
Meanwhile, after identification, the dead bodies were buried in Nawan Killi near Spin Boldak. They were Afghan Taliban.
The deputy inspector general of Frontier Corps, Brigadier Kabria, and Commandant Pishin Scouts Col Sarwar held talks with the Afghan officials about the entry of soldiers.
