LAHORE, Oct 6: A.S. Nathaniel, who served as the Quaid-i-Azam’s nurse during his last days at Ziarat residency, died here on Sunday.

She was the wife of Salas Nathaniel, a resident of Quetta; mother of Dr Victor Nathaniel, Dr Maureen Christy Munir and Keith Sadiq Nathaniel, and mother-in-law of Dr Christy Munir of the F.C. College.

Ms Nathaniel was awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.

Funeral was held at 7 F.C. College and at the Christian Cemetery, Jail Road, in the evening.
