KARACHI, May 30: An activist of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement was shot dead on Friday night in New Karachi, police and party sources said.

Mohammad Shahid, 22, a motor mechanic, was going to his home when unidentified men intercepted him in Sector 5-E, New Karachi, and sprayed him with bullets. He died on the spot.
