GUJRAT, July 25: Cases have been registered against 30 farmers belonging to four villages for stealing water from the upper Jhelum canal.

Irrigation officials conducted raids in Dhoop Sarri, Tapiala Sahian, Topa Adam and Khauja Sekriali villages situated along the canal and traced water theft. The thefts were reported to Dinga police that registered eight different cases against 30 farmers. — Correspondent
