LARKANA, May 21: Sultan Ahmed Khuhawar, MPA from Shahdadkot, who has formed a ‘Khidmat group of MPAs’ in Sindh, said soon more MPAs will join this group.
Talking to this correspondent in Larkana on Wednesday, he said that presently five — Abid Ali Sundarani, Mehboob Ali Bijarani, Sakina Bano, Dr Dost Mohammed Memon as well as himself were in the group, while three others were supporting them.
He did not reveal the names of the MPAs who were clandestinely supporting the Khidmat group.
He said that the names of the other MPAs would be disclosed before the budget session.
He said he was optimistic about the swelling number of MPAs in their fold.
He said, “We are not against the government nor the Sindh chief minister. Only the idea behind is to serve the province and the people.”
He said he will soon meet the chief minister, Sindh, and inform him about the actual position.
On being asked whether this kind of grouping will weaken the coalition government in Sindh, the MPA said “no”, and added that more MPAs will be invited to join the group. The group was demanding the government to induct Khuhawar as a minister.—Correspondent
