ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s inflation rate eased to 5.8 per cent in April year-on-year, from 6.57 per cent in March, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.

On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 1.09 per cent.

The average inflation rate in July-April was 7.75 per cent.
