QUETTA: Militants fired eight rockets at the election rally of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) in Harnai district of insurgency-hit Balochistan province on Wednesday, police said.

A minor girl who was a victim of this attack later succumbed to her injuries in Quetta hospital.

Four JUI-F workers were also injured in the attack, police said. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police said the rockets were fired from an unknown location. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
