MARDAN, May 17: Five people died and 15 others received injuries when a speeding Toyota Hiace van (PRK-3776) rammed into a roadside tree on Mardan-Charsadda Road here on Saturday.

Four of the injured, who were stated to be in critical condition, were rushed to a Peshawar hospital.

The  names of the dead pe sons are:  Mir  Alam  (Surkh Dheri), Aslam  (Charsadda), Hidayatullah  Shah  (Chaghar  Matay). The names of the two others could not be identified.
