SHEIKHUPURA, May 16: The audience at a circus witnessed a horrifying scene here on Thursday night with blood flowing and screams filling the tent when a performer was suddenly attacked in the stomach by a lion.

The mishap occurred during a show of the Lucky Irani Circus at the annual Urs of Pir Bahar Shah.

The 25-year-old resident of Mailsi, Altaf Hussain, was rushed to the DHQ hospital where the doctors managed to save his life.—APP
