ISLAMABAD, May 14: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has urged the nation to adhere to the principles of love, peace and tolerance to attain proximity to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In a message on Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the prime minister said the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon for the entire humanity and the quintessence which brings to an end hatred, malice, animosity and friction.
He urged the nation to vow not to let its life be affected by selfishness and hypocrisy and continue efforts for peace, love and tolerance so that the nation, Ummah and individuals could be successful in following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He said the character and life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon for the entire humanity regardless of any era, race or creed, whose each beam carries a guideline towards the right path.
“His teachings based on kindness, love and brotherhood demand that we should pledge from the core of our hearts to obey His teachings to our best possible extent and formulate our lives accordingly because it is the right path which shows how to eradicate the mutual hatred, enmity and conflicts among us,” the prime minister said.—APP
