ISLAMABAD, May 20: The Ministry of Interior on Monday finalised the security plan for the upcoming visit of a high level Chinese delegation to Pakistan, led by the Chinese premier.
Federal minister for interior, Malik Mohammad Habib Khan, presided over the meeting which was attended by the secretary interior, chief commissioner Islamabad, inspector general of police, and representatives of Rangers, Frontier Corps and law enforcement agencies.
Mr Habib Khan directed the police to be vigilant and to increase the security level in and around Islamabad.
He further directed that aerial security surveillance be carried out in coordination with the police.
A specific traffic plan including alternate arrangements is to be made to facilitate the general public and avoid inconvenience.
