Concern voiced over law and order

CHARSADDA, May 9: The district council here on Thursday condemned the recent police raid on a news agency and expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation.

In a session presided over by Convener Haji Mohammad Ibrahim, various Nazims maintained that instead of harassing the citizens, the police must concentrate on checking crimes.

Tarnab UC Nazim Manzoor Janbaz said there was no furniture in the girls middle school, Tarnab, although the district government claimed that it had given furniture.—Correspondent
