20 youth to undergo one-week training

LAHORE, May 17: At least 20 youngsters selected from 24 districts of Pakistan under the Young Ambassadors of Peace programme after a competitive public speech contest held across the country will undergo a training regimen of one week to further improve their communication skills.

Individualland Pakistan, a nonprofit, research-based consulting firm, initiated the ‘Young Ambassadors of Peace’ initiative in August 2012 to mobilise the youth from 24 districts for one common goal of peace.

The speech competition that kicked off from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa travelled to all four corners of the country giving the youth an opportunity to raise their voice for the promotion of peace.As a tribute to the youth, the Individualland Pakistan has produced a reality show based on YAP speech competitions. This show is scheduled to be aired on a private TV channel from May 19.
