ISLAMABAD, May 8: Railways Rawalpindi advanced to the semifinals of the Chairman CDA Hockey Championship on Thursday with a 3-2 victory over 501 Workshop at the Aabpara Ground.

Shafqat Ali scored twice while Zaman added the third to ensure a safe passage through. Babar and Hafiz Sajid netted for 501.

In another match, 502 Workshop qualified for the quarterfinals of the championship as they beat COD 2-0, their goals coming from Jamil and Javed.
