NEW YORK, Dec 9: No matter who is on the sidelines, wins never come easy for the New York Knicks.

Hours after coach Jeff Van Gundy resigned, the Knicks squandered a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter and barely held on for their third straight win, 101-99 over the Indiana Pacers.
