KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain early on Monday said he will be ready to return to Pakistan in no time if it comes down to saving honour of the country, DawnNews reported.

Speaking over telephone to party workers on the occasion of foundation day of MQM, he said he would not hesitate in leaving London for a minute, if a time comes to save the country from any trouble.

The party chief welcomed PPP leader Nabeel Gabol’s induction into MQM ranks and said his happiness has doubled due to this development.

However, he regretted killing of three party workers in Hyderabad on Sunday and appealed the activists to celebrate the MQM foundation day with minimalism.

Altaf Hussain vowed to carry on with his mission for betterment of poor and deprived and said that he did not even accept a single piece of land for himself from any government his party was part of in the past.
