THE Balochistan Public Service Commission is the only institution people of the province trust. Its office is situated in Quetta and tests and interviews are conducted in the provincial capital at various centres. Although Quetta is the provincial capital, it is far away from different cities, especially Makran division. The candidates from Makran cannot appear in the BPSC test due to non-availability of transport and other facilities.

The people of Makran have to go to Quetta via Karachi. They are compelled to travel to Karachi first which is troublesome. Many talented candidates cannot afford to go to Quetta to take test because of this issue.

The authorities concerned should look into the matter and establish a BPSC test centre in Turbat, the divisional headquarters, so that candidates do not have to travel far.
