KABUL: A Taliban raid of the Kabul traffic police headquarters is over and three police officers and at least five insurgents have been killed in the hours-long fighting, police said. Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said the battle ended more than nine hours after it began early Monday with a car bomb attack against the front gate of the building.
He said four traffic policemen had also been wounded in the fighting.
Mohammad Ayub Salangi said another 10 people were wounded.
He said two Taliban suicide bombers were killed at the gate, another blew himself up inside the building and another two were killed by security forces before they managed to detonate their vests.

When is US withdrawing after "securing" Afghanistan? Even Kabul is not safe let alone entire Afghanistan. US policies have badly failed in the war torn country and occupation forces are desperately looking back to their headquarters to call them home.

the target is Kabul traffic department, the traffice poice has in recent time started an operation while arresting those driving with no driving liscence, most probably is affecting the movement of Taliban as well, so they targetd the traffic police

USA is silly .....they think f the NATO leaves Afghanistan will fall lol afghan are a nation more old than all the countries of NATO .......they should leave the afghans on there own just help them in rebuilding without the boots on the ground ......they will be ok . Slow and steady they will get there .......American think the afghans will start listening to Bruce Springsteen in two days

Talibans are like the last samurais ......a die heart fighting breed . But I am sick and tired of this war in Afghanistan and in Pakistan .........thanks to Americans so many Muslims are dead for nothing. Why don't we gave peace a chance for once.
