Yes, this might sound a bit surprising. Last week film  actress and stage performer Madeeha Shah gave a statement, publicised by the Urdu press, that she was all for the anti-vulgarity drive espoused by the Punjab government.

She was speaking with reference to the kind of stage dramas produced in Lahore. She opined that the plays needed quality storylines carrying social messages. Well, you couldn’t agree more. Perhaps Madiha S’s feelings are the same for the Punjabi films in which she has also worked with all her body and soul.
