Bollywood Actors Akshay Kumar and Asin Thottumkal in a scene from Khiladi 786

Akshay Kumar's Khiladi 786 will now release in Pakistan with a changed title. A source from Pakistan said, "it will be released as Khiladi''

According to a report in TOI: The Censor Board of Pakistan had objected to the tittle of the film as it included the number 786 which is of very significance for Muslims. The board felt it might hurt the Muslim sentiments. The banners and hoardings of the films were also pulled out in cities like Rawalpindi and Karachi.

There have been quite a few Hindi films that have faced problems with Pakistan censor board. Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod and Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger for having Pakistani agents as characters in the film. Kashmir was an issue when it came to release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
