LAHORE, Nov 9: Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal has announced special visas for Aptma members.

During his visit to Aptma offices here on Friday, he said the special visa service for Aptma members would be in line with the Saarc model. He announced one-year triple entry visas for Aptma covering 10 cities with one side entry through land border and return through airport and exemption from police investigation.

He said the visas would be for chief executive officers and directors of Aptma member units and their spouses followed by executives of the companies, says a press release.

The envoy said there were 138 items importable from India through Wagah but there were capacity issues which needed to be resolved. — Staff Reporter
