KARACHI: New prices for petroleum products have been announced, according to which the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs4.65 per litre, DawnNews reported. The price of high speed diesel has been increased by Rs3.39, kerosene oil by Rs1.85 and high octane by Rs3.27 per litre.

The price of light diesel has been increased by 57 paisas per litre. The new price of petrol from 10 September will be Rs99.90 per litre, high speed disel is Rs115.52 per litre, kerosene oil is Rs104.06 per litre.

High octane is now Rs136.46 per litre, while light diesel is Rs99.41 per litre.

In region one, the price of CNG has been reduced by Rs4.27 per kg, whereas in region two the price has been lowered by Rs3.89 per kg, according to the notification.

The price of CNG in region one is now Rs91.45 per kg and in region two, it now stands at Rs83.55 per kg.

The change in prices of petroleum products will be effective from midnight.
